Facebook aims for the Twitter Takeover! The Social Media War Continues, Read More!

Facebook bought Friend Feed who was similar to Twitter and knew how to manage all your social networking sites at once.  This effective measure gave them enough leverage for Facebook to acquire the company and implement their logic to dominate the market.  What’s amazing is how fast this occurred.  The new feature within the status update is the @mentions just like Twitter.  It allows users to know who’s mentioning them in their updates.  Twitter is based on this feature and has only a few others left that seperate them from the competition.  Facebook and the Friend Feed staff should have more tricks up their sleeve without duplicating the whole Twitter system. We will see how Twitter handles this match and provides more benefit to its users.  I’m off to my facebook to find out how to work it efficiently, lol.  Check out the mashable blog or or other articles below.  Our link is http://bit.ly/trendz  share it on your social networking sites, thanks!
