Why Google’s Gmail failed to Operate for Millions!

Google’s Gmail failed today, from about 12:30 p.m. PDT Tuesday to about 2:30 p.m. PDT.  The outage was due to miscalculation of the traffic, servers became flooded and shut down.  These servers were set to handle scheduled maintenance, but the routers that redirects them was not properly aligned. Millions depend on this service as Google is one of the best in its field, even business mail suffered a much needed service failure as well.  Gmail is now back on track and is causing some chatter on Twitter as a Trending Topic.
